arrow in the clouds

Yesterday was my birthday and I wanted to start the day with a really good meditation and a channeled writing with my son. I’ve been doing writing to and from my son since he passed over nine years ago and I have journals upon journals of some pretty amazing things he has told me over the years. I always start by writing in a journal to Jake as a way to call him in closer. I then do a guided meditation to get really connected and follow that up with a separate journal that I title “Dear Mom”. In the journal of writings from Jake I do automatic channeled writing and just allow whatever wants to flow through me onto the pages. In the beginning I was afraid I was making it up or just using my imagination as a part of wishful thinking. So, I began asking Jake to tell me something to look out for as a way of validating the words on the pages were really coming from him. I have so many amazing validations I could share that are all so remarkable and have really cemented to me that my writings with Jake are really real. Well yesterday on my birthday he did not disappoint. In the writing he mentioned I should look out for an “arrow in the clouds”. I then went out for a walk along the beach and searched the beautiful blue sky for any clouds that were shaped like an arrow. Nothing… I forgot about it as the day went on. Later that evening I found a movie on demand that I wouldn’t have normally chosen to watch, but decided to give it a try. It was called The Housemaid. At the very end of the movie, as the credits started to scroll I was stopped in my tracks and my jaw hit the floor. On the screen there was literally arrows in clouds! This was the last thing I was expecting when I put the movie on demand. But somehow Jake knew to inspire me or perhaps he knew I’d be watching it later so he put the thought into my head to be on the look-out for arrows in clouds. It’s so truly amazing and awesome how very close our loved ones really are. We just have to be open to the magic of spirit. Thanks Jake, for the beautiful birthday gift of reminding me you are still with me.
