The path may be right in front of us, yet twists and turns might steer us off course. Believe in your inner knowing to steer you back on the path your soul desires.

Right now much of the area around me is frozen solid. Getting frozen in place can happen to us while we are grieving as well.

What we experience and go through in life can sometimes be referred to as “baggage”. We have the power to make the choice to not carry any emotional baggage around that is not serving us well.

Certain dates on the calendar seem more difficult than others. New Years has always hit me the hardest and seems to be the most painful one to pass through. Grief does not end when the calendar changes.

Waking up on Christmas morning when you have a special someone in Spirit isn’t always all merry and bright. So, if you are not feeling so merry this morning, know you are not alone.

When is enough, enough? If you are doubting yourself and where you are at in life, tell yourself that just by being you, being here now, is all you need to be. You are enough.

Gratitude is a very big motivator for raising vibrations and promoting overall well being, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Rather than focus on what’s missing in your life, try shifting to the practice of gratitude for what you do have that brings you peace.

You can say these words to the Divine, to yourself, or even to another as a simple way to clear away anything that your heart desires with love. What a beautiful gift to your soul!

Just remember, we are always connected to our loved ones through our love. There really is no other way to change that connection.

We spend so much of our lives waiting. What if everything outside this physical world happens instantaneously and we don’t have to wait to manifest anything?

Perseverance is the ability to keep moving forward, even through opposition or difficulty. Through perseverance and determination, I know I can rely on Spirit to make their presence known.

Amor fati is a Latin phrase meaning “love of one’s fate”. Amor fati frees you by saying, “there is no other way things could have gone because they happened exactly as they should”.

You are not of the mind, you are of the soul. You truly are a soul in a human body, not a human body with a soul.

Happy Birthday Jacob! You were celebrating your fifth birthday in this picture. That is how I choose to remember you today!

What if we could allow ourselves to take a vacation from our grief? Remember your loved one in Spirit wants you to enjoy a little break from the pain, and that’s ok!

Eight years ago you left me here without saying goodbye. You were here one moment and then you weren’t. Until we meet again, I love you endlessly.

Sometimes when we go into a mediumship reading, we are expecting to hear from a certain someone or to hear about a certain something, and we are not fully open. So if something from Spirit doesn’t make sense, remember to let Spirit’s messages simmer!

As a human with an ego self, you are meant to have flaws. But remember as a soul, you are exactly perfect just the way you are.

The next time you are upset or worried or disturbed by something going on in your life, try putting it in perspective. Ask yourself, will this all really matter that much in the bigger picture years from now?

So many humans are sleepwalking through their life completely oblivious to the fact that we are souls with a body, not a body with a soul. I just want to shout from the rooftops, “Wake Up!”
