Sometimes in life we find the need to disconnect ourselves from certain people. If we are in a relationship with someone, whether it be a friend, family member, work colleague, partner or anyone else we interact with on a regular basis and the relationship is no longer serving us, it is time to cut cords of attachment with them. Many times we just need a clean energetic break from someone or something. Distancing ourselves from them physically is usually not enough to fully separate their toxic energy from our own. If they are making us feel drained energetically and emotionally, then it is imperative that they must be released from our energetic field. Be careful to not allow others negativity to bring you down or make you feel less than the beautiful soul that you are. When you are on the path of spiritual awakening, it is so very vital that you protect your own energy. As we are ascending to higher levels of consciousness, our own vibration is shifting upwards and our own energetic frequency is rising and expanding. Those around us who are not on the same level of vibration will simply need to fall away. Do not feel guilty about letting go of others around you that are not in alignment with you any longer. As you are shifting and growing and evolving, removing these negative people from your life is simply making room for new more positive people and energies to come in. Cutting cords with anyone that you need to let go of is very simple. It is all done with intention. Just visualize yourself and this negative person facing one another and in your mind’s eye, imagine scissors or a sword cutting the energetic cord between you being severed. Release this person with love and say to them, “I am no longer attached to you in any way and I release any ties to you into the violet flame to be transmuted into love.” You will definitely feel lighter and brighter and actually feel the shift when this negative person is removed from your energetic field. Out with the old and in with the new! Cutting cords with those no longer serving your highest good is a necessary part of your spiritual journey of evolution.
