sunflower
Sunflowers are known for always growing upward, facing towards the sun. No matter the environment that they are growing in, they find a way to thrive using the nutrients of the soil, the water from the rain and the sunlight to help them grow. With nature nurturing them, they can be hardy and survive even in the most harshest of conditions. We can learn a lesson from the sunflower. Even in the toughest of times or the most difficult of situations, if we always remember to look for the light, we can endure and not just survive, but also thrive. Sunflowers represent a spiritual meaning as well. They are seen as symbols of joy and positivity and signify a resilient spirit, reminding us to rise above our challenges. They are always facing the sunlight showing us how they are always looking towards the light. If we try to remember to look towards the brighter side of things, it can change our whole attitude and create a more positive outcome. Our souls have a natural connection to our own inner light. It’s just so easy to forget this when we are facing difficult times or painful challenges, such as extreme grief. Remember your own inner light, turn it up even when it seems too difficult. Face the light and soak it in and let your inner light of who you are absorb that beautiful energy. Be like the sunflower and soak up the beautiful divine light of source to give you strength, especially when you need it most.
